Jewel.jpg

Jewel
DOB 3/21/18

mobility impaired

Meet Jewel, a very lucky pittie mix who was rescued from the streets of Houston. Even after tests and examination by specialists, it's unclear what caused Jewel's impairment.  Jewel can walk without her wheel chair, but when a girl's gotta run her back legs can't keep up and the wheelchair  keeps her moving!

Jewel prefers calmness in her dog companions, and slow introductions are her love language!  Humans?  Bring them on as she loves them all.

Jewel is available via SNARR Northeast, and she's adoptable throughout the US.  Learn more abut this cutie via her profile, and click to email for more information.

Angel.jpeg

Angel
~DOB Dec. 2019

polioencephalomalacia

Meet Angel, the sweetest girl! She has the heart of a puppy and will make you happy just by watching her play. She is curious, loves cuddles, and can happily entertain herself inside with toys while her human is at work.

Angel's neurological condition makes her an ideal homebody who doesn’t need a lot of walks or trips out. She loves doing spinnies in the backyard and playing fetch (although she’s not that good at it!).  Her vision is fine but the communication with her brain is sometimes muddled. She can be a little clumsy and sometimes has difficulty with recognition. When she meets strangers, she doesn't recognize them as humans and so can be fearful. Her ideal adopter will be patient and loving and will take their time getting to know her. She is looking for a low traffic home, with no kids or other pets.

Angel is available via Foster Army Animal Rescue and is adoptable througout Southern California.  Follow Angel on her Instagram feed, and click to email for more information.

Lizzy's Clayton 1.jpeg

Clayton
~DOB May 2019

mobility impaired

Meet Clayton!  Clayton is a male rat terrier whose broken back does not keep him from being happy and active.  He's perfected the drag-bag scoot, and he does great in his wheels. This persistent guy sometimes stands up on his back legs, and it's believed that his mobility might improve with the appropriate therapy. Clayton is a happy and active little guy, and his abundance of puppy happiness

will fill your life with joy!

Clayton is with Lucky Mutts (the non-hospice division of Lizzy's Hospice), and he can be adopted in the Central Texas area.  Learn more about Clayton on his profile page.
